Just so everyone knows.Although, non alcoholic fatty liver disease involves both the glucose and the fructose components of HFCS, there has been no conclusive research linking HFCS consumption to the onset of NAFLD more so than sucrose or other sugar consumption. In other words everything in moderation. I just prefer the taste of a sugar sweetened drink or honey one over a HFC one. Not cool to try to scare people though, with misinformation.

Such a great article it was which The key to these eloquent and insightful ramblings is that I find the original incarnations of the beverage; glass bottles, cane sugar. Nehi Orange is sadly no exception. I could only describe it as “thin” tasting, with not much real orange flavor compensated by a lot of sweetness. Such a fine refreshing, thank a lot for posting

Ola, I stand by my three day old Dr. Pepper comment! Although, I will conced that also most Swedes think root beer tastes like medicine. I do agree with your surströmming comment, though!

Maybe I'll stick to glög this Christmas!

You would think that as one of the nation's only suppliers of birch beer, they would have the decency to remove the dangerous high fructose corn syrup and go back to just sugar. I tell everyone when I'm in the soda aisle at Walmart. It is unbelievable how many sodas still have this stuff in them that is harming everyone's liver! You only have ONE liver!
